November 25, 2009
We hope all of our homeowners enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday in their new homes! For those of you looking for a family-friendly event in town tomorrow, check out the H-E-B Holiday Parade downtown or the Uptown Holiday Lighting event in the Galleria area.
The H-E-B Holiday Parade continues a 60-year holiday tradition, showcasing the Houston community through floats, balloons and live entertainment to more than 400,000 parade-goers lining the streets. The parade weaves through downtown Houston beginning at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. For more information on the H-E-B Holiday Parade, please click here.
The 24th annual Uptown Holiday Lighting event takes place on Thanksgiving Day, kicking off at 4 p.m. with food and live music. At 7 p.m., Santa Clause lights up Post Oak Boulevard with more than half a million holiday lights, followed by a fireworks extravaganza. The event benefits Sheltering Arms Senior Services and Be An Angel. For more information, please click here.
