Sandcastle Homes Teams Up with HomeAid Houston
May 17, 2017
Sandcastle Homes teamed up with HomeAid Houston to renovate a transitional living center, A Caring Safe Place, here in Houston. This center provides assistance to men who are living with HIV and who are also victims are drug/alcohol abuse and abandonment. Mike Dishberger was chosen to be the project’s Builder Captain and oversaw the entire renovation. Nicole Keown played a huge part in the project as she provided the renovations, which included remodeling the kitchen, replacing the carpet throughout the center, re-painting the exterior, and repairing the roof. Many vendors donated their services and materials for this project.
“HomeAid does such good work in our community,” said Dishberger. “I decided to take on this project after completing another HomeAid project several years ago. It was so rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of the residents and staff when the project was completed. We are truly looking forward to dedicating this project.”
