Jo Dunham Celebrates 15th Anniversary with Sandcastle Homes
August 14, 2015
Our Field Operations Manager, Jo Dunham earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1998 from the University of Houston. She’s been involved in the construction and landscaping industries since 1995, working on both new and remodel projects. In 1998, she began working for Village Builders, where she implemented and managed a successful Quality Assurance Inspection Program. Jo brought her diligence and quality-minded construction to Sandcastle Homes in 2000, when Mike Dishberger recruited her as Sandcastle Homes’ first employee. Four years later, Jo was the first woman to win the prestigious title of “Construction Superintendent of the Year” from the Greater Houston Builders Association. She has been quoted in the Houston Chronicle for her expertise in construction. Amongst many accomplishments in life, Jo is very proud that she won the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s “Men’s International Belly Flop” Contest. She lives in Oak Forest with her darling son, Jaxon, and their own personal zoo including: her beloved Chameleon, a cat, 2 Bearded Dragons, 2 Crested Geckos, 5 Hermit Crabs and a 80 pound Sulcata Tortoise. Jo’s passion for her job shows in every home we build and we’re happy to have her as part of our team. Congrats Jo! |
