Four Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend in Houston

Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day quickly approaching. If you have not made plans yet, consider the different happenings below on ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Houston.
The Health Museum – Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the museum. The Health Museum is hosting a Make a Day of It. Packages are available starting at 12 noon and 3 p.m. with the cost of admission $50 for members and $60 for non-members which includes entry into the Beautiful Minds – Dyslexia and the Creative Advantage exhibit, a picnic in the park, and a scenic bike ride on a BCycle bike. Register by Thursday, February 10 by 5 p.m.

Valentine’s Day Cookie Class – Ingenious Brewing Company is hosting a cookie decorating class on Sunday, February 13. The cost is $30 per ticket including an hour instructional class and five cookies (three to decorate, one custom made name plaque cooking, and one to enjoy during the class). There are a total of two classes left with limited slots available for the remaining classes.

Couples Paint and Sip – This Sunday, February 13, Bellard Entertainment is hosting their Valentine’s Edition Couples Paint and Sip at The Retreat Houston. Whether you bring your significant other, celebrate Galentine’s Day, or want to be on the solo tip, this event is perfect for you or more. There will R&B love songs, and so much more as you enjoy an evening of painting, drinking, and celebrating love. Get your tickets now! Prices start at $28 and go up to $70, not including fees, and the event kicks off at 7 p.m.
Foxfire Candle Works – How cool would it be to create your own candles? Pretty cool, right? This Valentine’s Day weekend or Valentine’s Day, take your partner and head over to Foxfire Candle Works to experience the in-store experience of creating your own scented candles. The cost is $15 to $48 depending on which product you choose. The candle making process takes between 30-40 minutes and an additional hour and a half to cool down. You can also eat and sip on your favorite alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage during your time.
